Paneer Tikka Supreme Masala Recipe


Paneer Tikka Supreme Masala is a vibrant and exotic Indian curry made of marinated and grilled paneer cubes dunked in a spicy and rich onion tomato based gravy.

Paneer is a type of fresh, soft cottage cheese native to the Indian subcontinent. Paneer Recipes are an integral part of Indian cooking. Paneer is a versatile dairy product and is used in an assortment of Indian curries, snacks and many sweets.

The soft and juicy Paneer pieces are marinated in a spiced yogurt paste along with vegetables like onions, capsicum (bell peppers) and tomatoes and then grilled which lends a unique charred & smoky flavor to the dish.

Ingredients For Paneer Tikka Masala Recipe

For Marinating the Paneer & Vegetables

  • 250 gm Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
  • 1/2 Cup Diced Onions
  • 1/2 Cup Capsicum (Bell Peppers)
  • 1/2 Cup Strained Yogurt (Curd) or Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/3 Teaspoon Supreme Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Supreme Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Supreme Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
  • 1.5 Teaspoons Supreme Chaat Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt, or according to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil

For the Gravy

  • 1 Medium Sized Onion
  • 2 Large Tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Yogurt (Dahi)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Heeng)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Supreme Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Supreme Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Supreme Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Supreme Coriander Powder (Dhania Powder)
  • 1 Tablespoon Kasoori Methi (Dry Fenugreek leaves)
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
